Thanks that Caitlin's surgery went well. She will be in NICU for a couple days. The biggest concern now is infection. Please pray none will set in, and that there will be no leakage at the site of the bi-pass. Thank you all for your prayers!!!!!!!!
Thanks for my health and life. What an emotional, and humbly place to be than at a Children's hospital, and staying at a Ronald McDonald house. So many children, most with no hair, some moving on their own power, some in wheelchairs, wee ones in strollers, a few walking connected to IV's. We have shed tears, it is times like this you ask the Lord, 'why?'.
It has been a very real and visible reminder to me, that my life is near perfect, I have nothing to complain about, everything to be grateful for.
Good stuff. That photo is precious!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts have been with Caitlin and Hannah today. It just seems like yesterday we were watching Hannah play and enjoying our times with you and Dale. Now the little girl we grew to love is a mother and having a little girl of her own. Praying for the Lord's mercy and healing and you know, my thoughts and prayers are with you my Sister-Friend. Love you.
ReplyDeleteoh what a precious picture... thanks for sharing the hard stuff too.
ReplyDeleteSending joy and healing!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,

Jules,
ReplyDeleteSo very happy your little dumpling is doing well....grateful for the doctor's skill, and the Lord's over-arching Presence guiding every stitch. I can imagine you are all exhausted and am praying for renewed strength for each of you. We continue to ask our God to heal Caitlin's body, holding her close as she sleeps and recovers.
Loving you. . .
Thanks ladies. Yes, Nan, we are weary, even with a good nights sleep.Caffiene is a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful with you! So glad she's doing good! I can imagine how hard that is! I've been watching (since November) posts from a family who have a daughter that was in a car accident, then coma, and now, slowing making some kind of recovery. Although they have hard days, I'm just so blessed to see God glorified in the midst of hard things! Blesses so many, and really puts things in perspective!
ReplyDeleteHope you're resting, and your family is too. What a beautiful little baby! Karen
